The journey with CoPlantation and Takiwā Tourism led to a stop in the township of Karitane, just north of Dunedin. This is where a local woman invented the lifejacket and Plunket, New Zealand's largest provider of children's development support services, was born. Jesse from Karitāne Māori Tours pointed out edible berries for reproductive health and showed us how to make adobe from the earth. The following is a collection of imagery from a lovely afternoon stroll, taking in his stories.
